#37 - Poursuite (Shadowing)

This player can use this Skill when an opposition player they are Marking voluntarily moves out of a square within this player's Tackle Zone.
Roll a D6, adding the MA of this player to the roll and then subtracting the MA of the opposition player.
If the result is 6 or higher, or if the roll is a natural 6, this player may immediately move into the square vacated by the opposition player (this player does not need to Dodge to make this move).
If, however, the result is 5 or lower, or if the roll is a natural 1, this Skill has no further effect.
A player may use this Skill any number of times per turn, during either team's turn. If an opposition player is being Marked by more than one player with this Skill, only one player may use it.

Clarifications

Q: If a player attempts to Dodge away from a player with the Shadowing skill, which roll happens first: the Dodge roll or the roll for Shadowing? (p.77)
A: The Dodge roll will happen first, and once the Dodge has been resolved the opposing player may roll for Shadowing if they wish.

"Il y avait quelque chose de Blanchard sur le terrain ce soir" C'est en ces termes élogieux que le coach Pedro a commenté le match réalisé par Mamadou Moon à l'issue du premier tour de la chocolate cup qui a opposé les Agressions Caractérisées au Havena's Dodgers de Phanos lors de la saison 2008-2009. En effet, survitaminé par l'humiliant souvenir de la défaite lors de la même compétition 3 ans auparavant, Mamadou Moon avait prévenu qu'il ferait ce cette soirée un enfer pour Gobelin. Il a tenu parole avec 2 morts et 3 BG à lui seul face à des gobs terrorisés. Lorsqu'on lui a demandé ce qu'il pensait du record presque atteint de Blanchard avec 6 sorties dans le même match il a répondu : "J'ai un grand respect pour cet esthète du jeu et simplement m'approcher de son record est un véritable honneur". Mamadou a eu d'ailleurs les yeux plein de larmes lorsque Pedro est venu lui donner les corps sans vie de ses deux malheureuses victimes en le félicitant...C'est tout de même beau le blood bowl.
